Urrbrae is one of the most involved organisations in the Royal Adelaide Show each year. In 2024 Urrbrae had a record number of competition entries and student and staff involvement in a diverse range of show exhibits and competitions.
We prepare students for tertiary education, vocational pursuits, and exciting opportunities in urban and rural settings.
Adelaide University invited a select number of Urrbrae senior students to visit the Roseworthy Campus earlier this week. This was a fantastic opportunity for students to learn more about the tertiary pathways available at the Roseworthy Campus including Veterinary Medicine, Veterinary Technology, Animal Science and Animal Behaviour degree programs.
The visit included a tour of the facilities, which are some of the best of their kind in the southern hemisphere. Students were also involved in workshops and laboratory visits. Thank you to Dr. Bec Forder for hosting this important visit to inform our students with post-school pathway options ...

Thank you to everyone who attended or helped out at our Ag Career Expo today in some capacity, be it staff, students, exhibitors and sponsors.
We had 35 exhibitors, and students from across all year levels attend as well as some student groups from other schools.
Thanks also to the Tailored Learning Brew Crew for keeping our exhibitors and attendees well caffeinated and our Peer Leaders and SRC team for putting on the sausage sizzle.

Our Year 10 and 11 Visual Art students recently had the opportunity to work with artist James Dodd in a Painting Mill workshop, exploring creative processes through STEAM practices. Students engaged in hands-on experimentation and developed new ideas by combining art, movement and innovation. Keep an eye out next term for a new art installation inspired by this exciting experience.
