Urrbrae Estate

Urrbrae Estate wines are produced on land bequethed to the state by pastoralist Peter Waite in 1923. Urrbrae Agricultural High School students are involved in all aspects of the wine making process, vineyard management, wine production and wine appreciation. Our wines are very popular and sell out each year. Our varieties include:

  • Shiraz (planted 1847)
  • Cabernet (planted 1986)
  • Merlot (planted 1989)
  • Grenache (planted 2000)
  • Sangiovese (planted 1990)
  • Montepulciano (planted 2019)

All wines are available for sale by coming into the school canteen from 9am to 2pm, at our Barn Market held in the school car park each first Saturday of every Month, or via the online form to the right.
